Seven Greggs jobs in Newcastle offering salaries of up to £45K

If you're a proud Geordie chances are you'll be a huge fan of a sweet or savory treat from Greggs.

The North East bakery chain which was founded 80 years ago has stayed true to its roots and still has its headquarters in Newcastle.

Retail senior team member

Location: Newcastle city centre.

Hours: 20 to 25 hours over four to five days.

Pay: £9.87 per hour, paid weekly.

Role: Greggs is looking for a senior team member to work in a new shop in the city centre. The successful candidate must have a keen eye for detail and good organisational skills. The job will see them lead and inspire the team in the absence of the manager.

They will also take responsibility for the shop for a few hours a day, either at opening or closing time. Previous management or retail experience would be ideal but isn't essential, as on-the-job training will be provided.

Retail food safety manager

Location: Newcastle.

Hours: Monday to Friday but with some flexibility available.

Pay: £32 to £36k depending on experience.

Skills:

  • Level 4 (advanced) Food Hygiene qualification
  • HACCP Qualification.

  • Role: Greggs is looking for a food safety professional to join its technical team within central food safety. As a retail food safety manager, you will lead the management and development of all food safety and quality management systems in retail to enable products to be produced and sold to the specified safety and quality.

    Business intelligence analyst

    Location: Greggs House / Innovate House in Newcastle but currently home based.

    Hours: Monday to Friday but some weekends required.

    Pay: £35,000 depending on experience.

    Skills:

    • Skilled in Power BI and other visualisation tools.
    • Experience of designing conceptual and logical data models.

    Role: The business intelligence analyst will be responsible for delivering and supporting the new Power BI toolset in support of the BI strategy and striving for a quality service delivery.

    Production Operative

    Location: Newcastle, NE12 8DW

    Hours: 39 hours per week from Monday to Friday on rotational shifts including 6am to 2pm and 20m to 10pm.

    Pay: £9.64 per hour initially, rising to £10.12 per hour upon completion of training for over 18’s.
