Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Witness Winces As Freak-Off Footage Is Shown & Judge Issues Warning

Sean 'P Diddy' Combs

As the Sean ‘P Diddy’ Combs trial continues, more chaotic scenes have occurred in court.

In the latest court date, jurors were shown footage of the infamous freak-off parties featuring Diddy, his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura and a male escort.

One witness, special agent DeLeassa Penland, along with the jurors were given headphones to watch the footage from October 14, 2012, as reported by news.com.au.

Although the footage was intended to be shut off from the courtroom — with those permitted to listen given headphones — at one point, the sound from the videos was audible in the courtroom.

To remedy this issue, the court ensured headsets that were not in use were turned off and away from any mics.

Teny Geragos, Combs’ defence lawyer, played several minutes of footage for the jury, including clips of videos from December 2014.

The publication reports that as the jurors watched the footage, which totalled at around 30 minutes, Penland could be seen “wincing”.

Penland also testified about credit card charges, which included hotel bookings and travel for Diddy, Cassie and male escorts.

The jury was also shown text messages between Ventura and Combs regarding the freak-offs.

In one text message, dated September 2014, Combs asked Ventura what she wanted to do. She then sent a screenshot of a message from a male escort named Keith asking if she was available.

Cassie wrote to Diddy: “I want to make love and drink wine … whatever makes my love happy”.

Combs responded, “Why did you show me the Keith thing?” She replied, “Because I never show you.”

In a subsequent message, Diddy asked, “Wanna freak off for the last time?” Cassie responded, “I wanna freak-off for the rest of our lives”.

During the court date, Judge Arun Subramanian gave the defence and prosecution a stern warning as one or more people in the courtroom had violated the court’s sealing order and revealed information about last Friday’s private proceeding. Judge Subramanian pointed to an article in the media that included sensitive information leaked from court.

He reminded the parties that the defence had requested the gag order and that a violation of that order could result in contempt charges.

The federal judge told lead counsel, Assistant U.S. Attorney Maurene Comey and defence lawyer Marc Agnifilo, that “the buck stops with you” and that they are personally responsible for the conduct of the teams.

The judge said this was the only warning he would give and told each side to insist they would not violate the court’s rules.

The trial is still ongoing.
