Samuel L. Jackson Stars In Thrilling Crime-Noir Film 'Damaged'

Trailer for 'Damaged' film featuring Samuel L. Jackson and Vincent Cassel released.

The highly anticipated trailer for the upcoming film 'Damaged,' featuring Hollywood icons Samuel L. Jackson and Vincent Cassel, has been revealed by Lionsgate. Scheduled for release in theaters and on demand and digital platforms on April 12, 'Damaged' is described as a heart-pounding crime-noir thriller crafted by acclaimed director Terry McDonough, known for his work on 'Breaking Bad' and 'Better Call Saul'.

The plot of 'Damaged' revolves around Jackson's character, a Chicago police detective, who embarks on a journey to Scotland to investigate a series of gruesome murders that bear a striking resemblance to cases he had previously worked on, including the tragic death of his girlfriend. The movie promises to deliver a gripping narrative of two detectives with haunting pasts as they race against time to apprehend a ruthless serial killer before he strikes again.

Directed by McDonough and penned by a team of talented writers including Paul Aniello, Koji Steven Sakai, and Gianni Capaldi, 'Damaged' boasts an ensemble cast led by the legendary Samuel L. Jackson and the versatile Vincent Cassel. The supporting cast includes Gianni Capaldi, Laura Haddock, John Hannah, Katie Dickie, and Brian McCardie, adding depth to the suspenseful storyline.

In addition to 'Damaged,' Samuel L. Jackson has a busy schedule ahead with multiple projects in the works. Fans can look forward to his voice role in the upcoming animated film 'Garfield,' where he will portray the character of Garfield's father. The movie, set to hit theaters on May 24, 2024, will see Jackson team up with Chris Pratt in a heartwarming tale of family and adventure.

Furthermore, Jackson is set to star alongside John David Washington and Ray Fisher in the drama 'The Piano Lesson,' a poignant story set in 1936 Pittsburgh during the aftermath of the Great Depression, exploring themes of family legacy and resilience.

Meanwhile, Vincent Cassel is gearing up for 'The Shrouds,' a project that reunites him with director David Cronenberg in what has been described as Cronenberg's most personal work to date. Cassel's portrayal of a grieving widower in 'The Shrouds' promises to captivate audiences with its innovative narrative and emotional depth.
