Rise Park Post Office has reopened in a new location

Rise Park Post Office has reopened in a new location after being closed since 2019. The Post Office moved into a convenience store this week, on Monday May 9.

The Post Office is now located at Crest Mini Market on Tithe Gardens. The Post Office counter is alongside the mini market's counter at the store, approximately 805 metres away from the previous branch.

It was previously at Bestwood Park Drive West, which closed in three years ago in August 2019. The former branch closed after the resignation of the Postmaster.

Richard Clark, Post Office Network Provision Lead, said: “We are delighted to have restored Post Office services to Rise Park as we know how important a Post Office is to a community. This full-time Post Office will be convenient for customers to visit.”

The new premises has a level access at the entrance. Internally, there is a hearing loop and space for a wheelchair.
