Rihanna, the queen of pregnancy reveals, has outdone herself yet again, this time unveiling a new baby bump while appearing at the Met Gala earlier today.
While the singer had already been papped sporting a notable bump just before the fashion event kicked off, she gave it a well-deserved moment in the spotlight when she eventually graced the floral carpet alongside her longtime partner, A$AP Rocky.

Rihanna looked positively glowing as she sported a suit-inspired dress in honour of this year’s Met Gala theme of “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style”.
The ensemble included a lapel front, a red tie with white polka dots and an oversized fedora, the latter of which was also worn by fellow guests Kim Kardashian and Diana Ross.
Excuse me, but when did fedoras become chic? Was Jason Mraz onto something this whole time?
While Rihanna’s look was show-stopping enough in its own right, the comments made by her completely smitten boo also deserve a moment.
Answering questions on the carpet, Rocky — who co-chaired this year’s event alongside Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, Pharrell Williams and Anna Wintour — confirmed that he and RiRi are expecting their third child.
“It feels amazing, you know,” the rapper told reporters after they congratulated him on the news.
“It’s time that we show the people what we were cooking up, and I’m glad everybody’s happy for us ’cause we are definitely happy.”
Later, when asked what Rihanna was planning to wear to the Met Gala, Rocky made our collective ovaries explode with the reply, “whatever doesn’t cover her baby hump”.
Rihanna and Rocky, who’ve been together since 2020, already share two children together, with three-year-old RZA Athelston Mayers arriving in 2022 and one-year old Riot Rose Mayers winning the genetic nepo baby lottery back in August of 2023.

Fans of Rihanna will know she’s no stranger to iconic pregnancy reveals.
The pop star announced her first pregnancy with a series of internet-breaking paparazzi shots in 2022, then did one better the following year by revealing her second baby bump while performing during the Super Bowl halftime show.
While congratulations are obviously in order for Rihanna, the recent reveal makes one thing clear: she’ll do anything other than release that goddamn album.
