'Ready for it' - Burton Albion boss Dino Maamria issues Bolton Wanderers view ahead of clash

Dino Maamria knows it will be tough taking on Bolton Wanderers tomorrow evening but has vowed Burton Albion will be ready for the encounter.

Wanderers are back at the University of Bolton Stadium when they host the Brewers. They go into the encounter on the back of returning to winning ways in League One with a comeback 3-2 victory over Accrington Stanley.

Burton go into the game on the back of a win too. Victor Adeboyejo's goal gave them all three points at the Pirelli Stadium over Cheltenham Town on Saturday.

Maamria believes the win shows that Burton are now in games as they aim to climb out of the League One drop zone. The Brewers boss knows it will not be an easy task against Bolton, but that his side are prepared for it.

Maamria said: “Teams playing against Burton Albion now know we are going to be in the game. Now we have to rest and recover and look forward to Tuesday night.

"Bolton had a good win (vs Accrington) and it’s not an easy place to go, but we are ready for it.

"There was only one team in it (vs Cheltenham), and we had over 60 per cent possession. We had 16 shots on goal, and we hardly had a shot to save. The penalty in the first half was the least we deserved but then we missed it. But we showed resilience and came out second half and upped the game again.

“I was pleased with the clean sheet, and it’s been a good month so far for us and the players have been brilliant, and they showed that again today."
