Rangers are reportedly in talks to sign Luton Town midfielder Thelo Aasgaard.
The 23-year-old joined the club from Wigan in January for £3m.
However, after Luton were recently relegated from the Championship to League One, it appears the Norway international will move on this summer.
Russell Martin is seemingly looking at adding the highly-rated player, who was born in Liverpool, to his new-look Rangers squad, according to the Daily Mail.
Aasgaard could join Joe Rothwell in becoming the latest player from England after he seals his switch to Glasgow from Bournemouth.
The former Manchester United kid signed a three-year deal at Ibrox today.
The 30-year-old spent last season on loan at Championship winners Leeds United.
He also worked under Martin during a previous loan spell with Southampton in the English Championship.
“I am delighted to have the deal done and be here,” Rothwell commented. “It is brilliant.
“The size of the club speaks for itself and as soon as the interest was there, it was an immediate yes from me.
“With Russell coming in, too, it made that decision a little bit easier because working with him in the past and I know what type of guy he is and how he wants to do things.
“That was an even bigger pull for me, but the club speaks for itself.”
