Punjab Kings 2022 Players List: Check team updates and full team squad in mega auction

NEW DELHI: Punjab Kings bought the highest numbers of players at the 2022 Indian Premier League mega auctions, a total of 23 players, after retaining just two players in Mayank Agarwal and Arshdeep Singh. Their biggest buy of the auction was English allrounder Liam Livingstone, for whom they spent Rs 11.5 crore on Day 2.

Being one of the three teams without a captain, Punjab Kings went big for experienced India opener Shikhar Dhawan and bought the left-hander for Rs 8.25 crore. They also spent Rs 9.25 crore for South Africa's pace spearhead Kagiso Rabada. Even after buying 23 players, the Punjab franchise have the biggest purse remaining after the auction - a total of Rs 3.45 crore.
