Princess Anne’s son Peter Phillips splits from girlfriend after three years

Princess Anne’s son Peter Phillips has split from his girlfriend of three years, it has been reported.

The 46-year-old began dating Lindsay Wallace in 2021 after the end of his marriage to Autumn Kelly.

But now he has amicably split from Ms Wallace, with nobody else thought to be involved, reported The Sun newspaper.

A source told the publication: “They were friends before their relationship blossomed. But Peter and Lindsay have gone their separate ways as the relationship simply ran its course.”

The source added: “Peter and Lindsay made the difficult decision to separate as they were spending less time together with work and family commitments.

Peter’s business commitments and work in F1 meant he has been away and travelling non stop.”

The royal, who is 18th in line to the throne, has two young children from his marriage - Savannah, 13, and Isla, 12 - while Ms Wallace also has two children from a previous marriage.

She was a classmate of Phillips’ sister, Zara Tindall, and their friendship later turned romantic.

The couple were said to be “rock solid” with Philips actually introducing his-then new partner to the late Queen before her death in 2022.

Their romance first made news in March 2021, but in March of this year, he appeared to attend the Bahrain Grand Prix alone.

Phillips, who is the eldest son of Princess Anne and her first husband Captain Mark Phillips, is sometimes dubbed the late Queen’s “favourite grandson”, and is  not a working royal.

The 46-year-old works as a businessman and is the managing director of a boutique sports management company, SEL UK.

In 2022, his net worth was reported to be around £15.7 million.
