Primavera Sound 2025: How to watch Charli XCX, Sabrina Carpenter and Chappell Roan from home

Charli XCX is set to return to Primavera Sound Barcelona on Thursday night, a year after kicking off her Brat era at the same festival.

In a full-circle moment, she’s now headlining, alongside two of pop’s most talked-about names: Chappell Roan and Sabrina Carpenter.

The three-day festival — known for its genre-blending line-ups and cult appeal among serious music fans — will once again take place at Barcelona’s Parc del Fòrum, blending coastal views with late-night sets and a devoted international crowd from June 5 to Sunday, June 8.

Often seen as Europe’s most eclectic music event, Primavera 2025 will welcome back Charli XCX as a Thursday night headliner, sharing the bill with Troye Sivan for the only European date of their SWEAT tour.

Carpenter will take centre stage on Friday night, fresh off the success of Espresso and just hours after the live debut of her new single Manchild.

Chappell Roan, who previously said she “came out of retirement” to play the festival, will close out the weekend on Saturday.

Organisers are leaning into fan-led nicknames, installing a Powerpuff Girls statue on the festival grounds in honour of the trio, who’ve been dubbed the “pop trinity” of 2024.

Elsewhere on the 147-strong bill are FKA twigs, HAIM, Jamie xx, Confidence Man, Yoasobi, CMAT, Amaia and Aminé.

Sadly Clairo was forced to drop out, with Wolf Alice stepping in.

If you’re not heading to Primavera in person, you can still catch the action from home. The festival will be livestreamed from Thursday 5 June to Sunday 8 June on Prime Video and the Amazon Music Twitch channel, with more than 30 full performances set to air.

Alongside the sets, the stream will include exclusive artist interviews and behind-the-scenes content.

Acts featured in the broadcast include Fontaines D.C., Beabadoobee, IDLES, Jamie xx, Kim Deal, MJ Lenderman, Stereolab, TV on the Radio, Waxahatchee, Wet Leg, Caribou and Floating Points.
