Prime Video spinoff cancelled after two seasons

Prime Video Gen V (Organization)
  • The superhero satire series The Boys is concluding with its fifth and final series, which is currently airing.
  • Its spin-off, Gen V, will not return for a third season despite receiving critical acclaim for its first two series.
  • Executive producers confirmed that Gen V characters will continue their stories in The Boys Season 5 and other VCU projects.
  • Tragedy struck Gen V's production when actor Chance Perdomo, who played Andre Anderson, died in a motorcycle accident in March 2024, with his role not being recast.
  • The franchise will continue with a new spin-off titled Vought Rising, a murder mystery exploring the origins of the corporation and featuring characters like Soldier Boy and Stormfront.
