The 2021/22 Premier League season may have only just finished but that hasn't stopped the bookmakers delivering the odds on who will win the league and who will be relegated in 2023. We're still yet to see who will join the current 19 clubs confirmed for next season, with Huddersfield Town and Nottingham Forest playing next week at Wembley for the right to join the big party.
That may be the case, but the verdict has already been cast on the runners and riders for the new campaign. The important thing for Leeds United is their place in the top flight is secured after a nerve-jangling final day which saw the Whites survive thanks to a 2-1 victory at Brentford while Burnley lost at home to Newcastle United.
It's hardly surprising given Leeds' struggles this year that they're not remotely closer to being among the contenders for the title, but the good news is the bookies don't see them among the relegation favourites either, and that's still with one more Championship side to be promoted.

Championship title winners Fulham and second-placed Bournemouth are the early favourites for the drop, joined by the Brentford side who Leeds beat today. It's been a great first season in the Premier League for Brentford, but as Leeds found this year the second-season is a real threat and Brentford are being tipped to struggle.
