- Thames Valley Police officers, responding to an emergency , were forced to contact a van driver who had inadvertently blocked their path on the M40 motorway.
- Bodycam footage showed the officers dialling the number displayed on the back of the van after the driver failed to notice their blue flashing lights.
- Upon answering, an officer asked the driver if he was on the M40, leading to the driver repeatedly apologising once he realised his error.
- TVP Roads Policing stated that the driver meant no harm but used the incident as a reminder for all motorway users to move over safely when required.
