Orlando Bloom has come under fire online after sharing a photo of his four-year-old daughter, Daisy, naked on a beach.
The Pirates of the Caribbean actor, 48, posted a series of holiday snaps on Instagram on Sunday, showing himself and Daisy enjoying a day by the sea.
In one image, the Hollywood star is seen holding his daughter as they gaze out at the water, but the original version showed the toddler with her bare bottom visible.
Bloom later deleted the post and re-uploaded the image with an emoji covering her exposed body.
He shares Daisy with ex-fiancée, pop star Katy Perry. The couple have largely kept their daughter out of the public eye, rarely sharing images of her and only recently revealed her face online.

While many acknowledged the photo may have been an innocent family moment, some questioned Bloom’s decision to share the unedited version with his seven million followers, particularly in light of the couple’s usual emphasis on privacy.
One Reddit user wrote: “It’s super common for small kids to run around naked on beaches where I’m from. That being said, there are a lot of weirdos out there and posting the picture is not a good idea.”
Another criticised the apparent contradiction, saying: “They don’t post this child’s face on social media so they do understand privacy — but then post a naked pic? Make it make sense.”
Others expressed discomfort at the post, suggesting it was out of touch. “I can understand how that might be a meaningful photo for a parent, but not on the internet for millions to see,” one user commented.

However, some defended Bloom, saying the criticism was overblown. “Sure, a stupid thing to do, and it’s good that we’re more aware of kids’ privacy in the social media age. But some of you need to take a deep breath,” read one response.
Elsewhere in headlines, Perry has been linked to former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau after the two were spotted enjoying an intimate dinner date together in Montreal.
It came after she and Bloom shared a statement last month saying they have been “shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on co-parenting.”
They added, “They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is — and always will be — raising their daughter with love, stability, and mutual respect.”
