Olivia Rodrigo has reportedly split from her boyfriend, actor Louis Partridge, after two years of dating.
The duo has officially been together since 2023, but split up a few weeks ago.
The Driver's License singer has appeared stoic in photos, but allegedly broke down in tears at Lily Allen’s Stringfellows bash in London, the Sun reported.
According to a source, “They made such a lovely couple, so people who know them were shocked when they heard.
“It’s not been the easiest few weeks for them, and they decided it’s better to be apart for now.
“Olivia was at Lily’s party and emotional when she was talking about it. Her friends have rallied around her, but it’s just been pretty rough. It’s really sad right now.”
Partridge previously told the press, whilst promoting his role in the Netflix series House of Guinness, that he and Olivia were “very happy” together.
He said he had no problem with sometimes being in her shadow, and jokingly known as “Mr Olivia Rodrigo!”
He told Variety: “I can handle that.”
This comes after a career-defining year for Olivia, who just this summer headlined Glastonbury and British Summer Time in London.
The good news for fans is that this split might be good fuel for a new album, as the comes second only to Taylor Swift when it comes to breakup ballads.
Olivia’s breakout single Drivers License, released in 2021, made the musician a household name.
The lead single on her latest album Guts, Vampire, is all about a toxic and mentally draining ex.
Previously discussing her songwriting, she’s said: “Sometimes being in love with a person who doesn’t love you the same way can feel kind of degrading.”
