Old photo ‘proves time travel’

A photo from over 100 years ago has people “wondering whether time travel exists”, said The Mirror. The image shows adults and children sitting on a mound in Canada in 1917. While most of them are wearing the clothing of the era, one man bears “an uncanny resemblance to someone from the 20th century”, said the paper, because he is wearing a baggy t-shirt and shorts, ���as well as sporting a shaggy haircut”. The news comes after recently unearthed footage from 1938 appeared to show someone using what looked a mobile phone.

Burnt-out Ferrari goes for £1.5m

The burnt-out shell of a racing car that burst into flames in a race in the 1960s has been sold to a collector for £1.5m. The 1954 Ferrari 500 Mondial Spider Series I was left untouched for about 40 years before a hurricane in 2004 tore down the barn where it was housed. The buyer who snapped it up in Monterey, California, during Monterey Car Week, plans to “restore the Ferrari to its former glory, so it is able to race again”, said The Telegraph.

Has Queen song been cancelled?

The Queen single Fat Bottomed Girl has been dropped from a greatest hits album, prompting speculation it’s been “cancelled”, said The Times. The 1978 single in praise of “dirty ladies” with fuller figures was featured on previous collections but the new greatest hits album, which has been made available on Yoto, an audio platform specifically aimed at children, does not include it.
