AI is everywhere these days, and now it’s coming to your TVs as well. Today, Google is introducing Gemini for TV, which will allow you to have free-flowing conversations with your television.
Though it does not replace Google Assistant, as it still works, the Gemini goes one step further from finding the perfect show for movie night to helping with school projects or learning new skills. The AI on your TV can now handle more complex requests.
Better Entertainment Recommendations

Finding a perfect show or a movie to watch has become a tedious task thanks to the abundance of options available on different platforms. But now Google is trying to solve this problem as Gemini can now find options based on everyone’s tastes. It will also give you the name of the show or a movie based on the description you give. Plus, it will also give reviews and summaries to help you decide.
Learning and Skills on the Big Screen
Interestingly, Gemini also supports homework or school projects with explanations and YouTube videos. It can also guide you through learning a new skill or cooking a recipe in under an hour.
Availability
Gemini is available starting today on the TCL QM9K series. Later this year, it will expand to devices like the Google TV Streamer, Walmart onn. 4K Pro, 2025 Hisense U7, U8, and UX models, and 2025 TCL QM7K, QM8K, and X11K models.
