Norah Jones Reclaims No. 1 Spot On Contemporary Jazz Chart

Norah Jones maintains position as cherished jazz artist.

Norah Jones continues to showcase her enduring success in the jazz genre, maintaining her position as one of the most cherished artists in the industry. Despite not releasing hits at the same frequency as in the past, Jones remains a force to be reckoned with in the music world.

This week, the Grammy-winning artist achieves a remarkable feat on the Billboard charts by reclaiming the top spot on the Contemporary Jazz Albums chart with her timeless album, Come Away With Me. Surging from No. 2 to No. 1, the album reaffirms its dominance in the genre.

Previously, Jones had secured the No. 1 position on the same chart with her latest album, Visions. While Visions debuted triumphantly at the top spot, it relinquishes its reign to Come Away With Me this week, showcasing Jones' consistent chart-topping prowess.

With this recent achievement, Come Away With Me has now led the Contemporary Jazz Albums chart for an impressive 327 nonconsecutive weeks, a feat that highlights the enduring appeal of Jones' music. The album's total of 368 appearances on the chart further underscores its enduring popularity.

Visions marked Jones' fourth album to reach No. 1 on the Contemporary Jazz Albums chart, following the success of Pick Me Up Off The Floor in 2020 and …’Til We Meet Again in 2021. Throughout her illustrious career, Jones has amassed a total of seven top 10 placements on the chart, solidifying her status as a powerhouse in the jazz genre.
