Newcastle United chiefs are looking to make progress in the transfer market this week as they look to complete what would be deemed a successful January window.
Work has not stopped after the arrivals of New Zealand international Chris Wood and former Tottenham Hotspur star Kieran Trippier.
Chronicle Live understands that representatives and agents of a clutch of January targets were in the stands for the 1-1 draw against Watford - including key figures who aided United on their chase for Wood and Trippier.

Head of recruitment Steve Nickson has led the way in the window with the backing of Amanda Staveley and the rest of the board, but Newcastle remain in regular dialogue with some of the game's key recruitment figures.
Lille president Olivier Letang publicly stated that Sven Botman - who scored in his club's 1-1 draw with Marseille at the Velodrome on Sunday - was needed until the end of the season while talks for Sevilla's Diego Carlos remain ongoing.
Whether Lille supremo Letang is trying to prise one more huge bid for Botman, who has indicated he is keen on a move to the Premier League but may require a relegation release clause, is up for debate as we head into the final fortnight of the window.
Luring a quality centre-back to St James' Park this month has always been high on the list but Eddie Howe and his backroom team have also identified a forward as one of their main priorities too.

Newcastle will then assess the loan market in the final week of the window with Howe confirming to us on Friday that he saw the prospect of temporary deals as a good solution this month.
The draw against Watford left Howe and his players deflated after conceding so late in the game but they must now pick themselves up for Saturday's trip to Elland Road to face Leeds.
Howe said after the game: "I just hope it doesn't leave mental scars for the players. I'm sure it won't because we will analyse the game and then work to try and change it.
"We still believe in ourselves and the players.
"Obviously, we know that every game gets more difficult. They don't get any smaller, they get bigger with every match."
