Nepal embassy invites Indian content creators for sponsored trip; check eligibility and details

The Embassy of Nepal in New Delhi has invited applications from Indian social media influencers, vloggers and podcasters for a familiarisation trip to Nepal aimed at promoting the Himalayan nation’s tourism among Indian travellers.

According to the embassy, five Indian content creators will be selected for the trip to experience and showcase Nepal’s natural beauty, cultural heritage, spiritual destinations, adventure tourism and hospitality through digital content.

The initiative seeks to encourage more Indians to visit Nepal for leisure, pilgrimage, wellness, family holidays and adventure travel.

In an official announcement, the embassy said the selected influencers would get an opportunity to explore Nepal’s mountains, lakes, temples, stupas, festivals, cuisine and local culture while creating engaging online content for audiences in India.

Who can apply?

The embassy said applicants must be Indian nationals or India-based digital creators with an active presence on platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, X or other digital channels.

Creators producing content related to travel, spirituality, lifestyle, food, culture, tourism, wellness or adventure will be given preference.

Applicants should also have a strong and engaged audience base and must be capable of producing high-quality videos, reels, podcasts, vlogs, stories or social media posts.
