'Naatu Naatu' singer Rahul Sipligunj reacts to RRR stars Ram Charan, Jr NTR refusing to dance at Oscars: 'It would have been a big blast'

‘Naatu Naatu’ singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kala Bhairava mesmerised one and all with their performance at the Oscars. However, fans wanted the OG stars Ram Charan and Jr NTR to perform on the Oscar stage.

According to reports, Tarak and Ram were approached for the performance but they backed out. Oscars producer Raj Kapoor told The Academy that Ram Charan and Jr NTR weren’t comfortable recreating the blockbuster song due to lack of rehearsal time.

Now, ‘Naatu Naatu’ singer Rahul has shared his thoughts on how the entire country missed watching the superstars dancing to the Oscar-winning song during the gala ceremony. He told Hindustan Times that if the actors would have entered the stage, it would have been a big blast for sure. Although he doesn’t know what exactly happened at the last minute, he added that the entire India would have gone crazy over them if they did perform.

Nonetheless, Rahul and Kaala delivered a power-packed performance on the grand stage and received standing ovations at the 95th Academy Awards.

‘Naatu Naatu’ received an Oscar in the Best Original Song category. Music composer MM Keeravani, along with lyricist Chandrabose accepted the award on the stage.
