Mystery National Lottery winner urged to claim Set For Life £10,000-a-month prize

A mystery lottery ticket holder who has scooped £10,000 a month for the next 30 years is being urged to come forward to claim their prize.

There were two winning tickets in the National Lottery's £10,000-a-Month-for-30-Years Set For Life draw on Monday, August 1 and only winner has come forward.

Lottery officials have revealed the other winner bought their ticket online, either on the National Lottery website or through its App. They have been urged to "log into their National Lottery account and then call 0333 234 50 50 in order to make their claim."

If the prize is not claimed after 180 days of the draw it will be withdrawn.

Set For Life offers a top prize of £10K a month for 30 years when the five main numbers and the Life Ball are matched.

Cheryl Crowley is a previous winner of the National Lottery's Set for Life draw (James Robinson)

The main numbers for the draw on August 1 were 7, 11, 19, 31, 47 and the Life Ball number was 9.

Camelot’s Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at The National Lottery, said, “It’s only a week since the draw but someone really could be ‘set for life’ with this amazing prize, if only they would come forward. We’re urging all Set For Life players to log into their National Lottery account as soon as possible.”

Once a ticket-holder has called Camelot and the claim has been validated and paid, the ticket-holder will then decide whether or not to go public and share their news. There will be no information on whether this win is an individual or syndicate win unless the ticket-holder decides to go public.

National Lottery players can buy and check their tickets online by downloading the National Lottery app or at national-lottery.co.uk or in shops. Playing online via the app or website means that your ticket is checked, and you get an email notification if you win a prize. You can also scan your retail tickets on the National Lottery app to check if you're a winner.

Meanwhile a Lotto ticket holder has finally claimed the £20million jackpot prize won on in the special ‘Must Be Won’ Lotto draw on Saturday.

Camelot UK Lotteries Limited, operator of The National Lottery, confirmed earlier today that it has received a claim for the prize.

The claim would now go through a validation process, before the prize could be paid out.

It was not currently known whether the winner was an individual or part of a syndicate, nor where the ticket was sold.
