Sedge Beswick, who is also the firm's managing director, started at ASOS as the company's first, and then only, social media employee.

She then built her team up to a 32 strong work force, before setting up her own company in 2016.

She said: "2021 was a brilliant year for the business, we have partnered with fantastic new clients and taken on ambitious colleagues who are embracing our entrepreneurial and exciting way of working.

"We are a people-led business and I genuinely believe that my people are the best in the market.

"The US will be the region that drives our international growth plans and to fully commit to clients and staff in the States, a presence in the US is vital. New York is a brilliant place to do business and we can’t wait to fully immerse ourselves in the opportunities the city has to offer.

"In both the UK and US, recruitment is extremely competitive, I’ve interviewed more people in the last six months than I have in the last six years - and people are getting snapped up, fast.

"We have launched a new staff retention scheme, Connected Thinking, part of which is a learning and development programme, that includes training sessions with best-in-class thought leaders, which will level up the experience of our team.

"Influencer marketing should focus on authentic content and credibility, that’s never commoditised. Real people, with real experiences of brands and products, sharing real opinions."
