Mark Wright has been blasted for playing a “dangerous” prank on his father, Mark Snr, in the pool.
The former Towie star, 38, had a pool day with the whole Wright family at the Essex mansion he shares with his wife, Michelle Keegan.
He filmed himself pushing his dad, 68, in the water, close to where his sister Jess’ son Presley, three, was playing with his brother Josh.
Mark Snr branded the radio host a “f**king idiot” as he fell in and got his phone out of his pocket, which his son insisted was fine as its “waterproof”.
In a video shared on Instagram at the weekend, the reality star could be heard cackling as he panned the camera to his mother Carol, who was also laughing.
While they saw the funny side, some viewers warned the gag could have “ended badly” as his father could have “squashed” his nephew.
“Did anyone else has anxiety over the little boy getting squashed in that water??” one asked in the comments.
“Not funny at all!! Didn’t you see the child close to him!” another added.
“Absolute k**b heads, child could have been squashed elderly man could have fallen badly on the stairs in the shallow end,” a third posted.
“So bloody dangerous pushing someone into a pool ffs,” another user agreed.
The Standard has contacted Mark’s representative for comment.
The Wright family were quick to comment on the video, with his sister Jess writing: “The language was frightening lol... Of course daughter Jess comes to the rescue.”
Their youngest sister Natalya penned, “Poor dad,” while Mark's cousin Elliott Wright and his wife Sadie Stuart left laughing emojis and called the prank a “liberty”.
Mark’s wife Keegan and their baby daughter Palma were not pictured in the clip.
Keegan and Wright - who married in 2015 - welcomed Palma on March 6.
Sharing a photo of their hands clasping the newborn’s tiny hand, they wrote on Instagram: “Together we have a new love to share… Our little girl. Palma Elizabeth Wright 06.03.25.”
In April, they took their first holiday in the UK as a new family with a weekend getaway in the countryside.
The couple headed to the exclusive member’s club and hotel, Soho Farmhouse, in Oxfordshire.
In June, the couple jetted to the Costa del Sol in Spain for a luxurious getaway, with Keegan sharing several sweet photos with their tot.
