Manchester United vs Sevilla squad named as club announce Scott McTominay injury blow

Marcus Rashford, Luke Shaw and Marcel Sabitzer have been named in Manchester United's 21-man travelling squad for their Europa League quarter final second leg against Sevilla, but Scott McTominay has been forced to miss the trip.

Erik ten Hag's side flew to Spain on Wednesday afternoon with the tie perfectly poised following a dramatic 2-2 draw at Old Trafford a week ago.

An early brace from Marcel Sabitzer put United in control for much of the game, but they were made to pay for their complacency when two late own goals gifted Sevilla a draw on the night.

United head to Spain with a point to prove in the second leg and they have been boosted by the return of a number of key players to their squad.

Rashford has missed United's last two games with a thigh injury but returned to training on Wednesday morning ahead of flying from Manchester Airport later in the day.

Shaw is also back in contention after being sidelined since coming off in the 37th minute against Brentford earlier this month.

Sabitzer, who scored both goals against Sevilla last week, has also travelled to Spain after withdrawing from the side that beat Nottingham Forest last weekend just minutes before kick-off.

Scott McTominay, Alejandro Garnacho and Raphael Varane remain unavailable, while Lisandro Martinez and Donny van de Beek are out for the season. Bruno Fernandes is suspended for the second leg. United announced on their website that McTominay is set to miss a few more games, meaning he will be out of the FA Cup semi-final against Brighton this weekend.

United travelling squad:

Goalkeepers: David De Gea, Jack Butland, Radek Vitek.

Defenders: Diogo Dalot, Victor Lindelof, Harry Maguire, Tyrell Malacia, Luke Shaw, Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Midfielders: Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, Fred, Zidane Iqbal, Marcel Sabitzer.

Forwards: Antony, Anthony Elanga, Anthony Martial, Facundo Pellistri, Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Wout Weghorst.
