Manchester United Q&A on Liverpool win, Cody Gakpo, Antony bid and other transfers

Welcome to today's Q&A with Samuel Luckhurst, the MEN's chief Manchester United writer. After a somewhat surprising victory over Liverpool on Monday evening, morale has been boosted amongst United fans, but there are still plenty of questions to be asked as we approach the final week of the transfer window.

United ran out 2-1 winners over their arch-rivals on Monday thanks to goals from Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford, securing their first win of the season after a disastrous opening two games. The Reds also unveiled new signing Casemiro during the game - and perhaps you'll be keen to get Samuel's thoughts on whether Erik ten Hag will put the much-decorated defensive midfielder straight into the team for Saturday's trip to Southampton.

Or perhaps you'll have questions on the state of play of the remainder of United's transfer window, with a fresh bid for Ajax attacker Antony expected. United have also been linked with PSV forward Cody Gakpo, with Ten Hag keen to beef up his front line.

There has also been plenty of speculation about the future ownership of the club, with United fans staging another anti-Glazers protest on Monday amid takeover interest from the likes of Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
