Man in his 20s found dead in home

A man in his 20s was found dead in a property in Garston.

Merseyside Police received a call on Wednesday, October 5, following concern for a man living on Logfield Drive in Garston. Once officers arrived at the scene at 10am, they found the body of a man in his 20s.

He was pronounced dead at the scene and his next of kin have been informed.

Merseyside Police confirmed the man’s death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.

A spokesperson from the force said: "We can confirm emergency services were called to an address on Logfield Drive in Garston this morning, Wednesday 5 October. At around 10am officers were called to a report that the body of a man in his 20s had been found. He was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

"The man’s death is not being treated as suspicious."

A number of police cars and North West Ambulance Service vehicles were at the scene, according to eyewitnesses.
