Major Glasgow cinemas to offer £3 tickets to everyone for National Cinema Day

A host of cinemas based in Glasgow will join in on a nationwide event, offering cheap tickets to its patrons to celebrate National Cinema Day.

Cinema-going is one of the nation’s favourite out-of-home leisure activities, and National Cinema Day celebrates every aspect of the big screen experience. On Saturday, September 3 2022, hundreds of cinemas across the UK are coming together to celebrate National Cinema Day, inviting everyone to enjoy the incomparable sights and sounds of the big screen experience.

Participating cinemas are offering all tickets to all shows from just £3, providing an additional incentive for everyone to come along, sit back and enjoy a movie where it belongs, on the big screen.

The eight Glasgow-based cinemas taking part are:

  • Cineworld - Glasgow Parkhead - Forge Shopping Centre
  • Cineworld - Glasgow Renfrew Street
  • Grosvenor - Ashton Lane Glasgow
  • Cineworld - Silverburn - Silverburn Shopping Centre
  • Odeon - Glasgow Springfield Quay
  • Shoowcase Glasgow - Barrbridge Leisure Centre
  • Vue - Glasgow Fort - Fort Shopping Park, Jct 10 M8
  • Vue - Glasgow St Enoch

There will be a variety of movies available in this deal, from kids films to brand new blockbusters. Some examples of films airing in Glasgow cinemas this weekend include: Spider-Man: No Way Home, Elvis, Top Gun: Maverick, DC League of Super-Pets and much more.
