Love Island's Paige Thorne is 'nervous but excited' as she starts first shift back as a paramedic

Since leaving the Love Island villa, Welsh Love Islander Paige Thorne has maintained that she wants to return to her day job as a paramedic. Now the reality TV star is back on the front line as she dons her uniform and starts her first shift since entering the villa in the summer of 2022.

Paige took to her Instagram to tell fans she was returning to her job. She admitted a "little part of me is nervous" to her fans but said she is mostly "excited" to be back.

Dressed in her paramedic uniform Paige told her fans: "So as you can see I'm back in my uniform about to be doing my first shift back, a little part of me is nervous as its been so long since I've been off but more than anything I'm super excited to be back."

Paige went on to say being a paramedic was her "passion" and what she was "comfortable" with. She said: "Back with my team, back doing what I absolutely love, what I am passionate about, what I'm comfortable with. I just know it's going to be a great shift...I can't wait, absolutely looking forward to it."

The star also filmed herself entering the paramedic station and showed her fans what was in her kit bag. Paige left the Love Island villa after at first becoming close with Jacques O'Neill, before he chose to leave the villa, and then coupling up with bombshell Adam Collard.

It is believed that Paige and Adam are currently on a break after he was pictured with his arm around another girl after a night out. Adam's representatives have released a statement denying these claim s and neither Adam nor Paige have spoken about the rumours on their social media.
