Commuters face significant disruption this morning after a track fault has brought parts of the Metropolitan line to a halt. Transport for London (TfL) confirmed that services were suspended between Aldgate and Baker Street while engineers work to fix the track fault at Baker Street.
The fault, is causing severe delays across the wider line, with knock-on effects to other routes during the morning rush hour.
Passengers are being advised to use the Circle and Hammersmith & City lines to complete their journey.

“You may be entitled to compensation if you experience a delay in completing your journey today. Please keep your train ticket and make a note of your journey, as both will be required to support any claim.”
