Legoland offering a free day's entry to brick-loving families on minibreaks

Visitors to Legoland can build themselves a perfect minibreak with a free day at the theme park.

The Danish tiny brick company is giving away a second day's entry to the park for free to those who book a minibreak at the Windsor resort between February 11 and June 30, on selected dates.

Families can stay in one of Legoland's nearby partner hotels from £49 per person as part of Black Friday, or sleepover on site at the Castle or Resort hotel.

If you book a break before December 4 then your second day's tickets will cost nothing.

Legoland has more than 55 rides, attractions and live shows, meaning there is plenty to explore however long your visit.

Thrown into the deal is free breakfast in the morning, free parking and wifi, a chance to get on the rides before everyone else, and meet and greet time with some favourite Lego characters.

Legoland suggests that visitors spend their first day arriving at the park early to take advantage of the small queues and get on as many rides as possible.

Guests are likely to be particularly excited by Flight of the Sky Lion, where young and old can whizz into the air alongside Maximum.

Old favourites including Pirate Falls and the Dragon Ride remain staples of the park.

For lunch you can tuck into some favourite freshly made pizza and pasta at City Walk Pizza & Pasta, Or bring DUPLO fun to the dining table at Farmer Joe's Chicken company.

Instead of churning up your meal on a coaster, the driving school is a good post-lunch activity and the number one way to bag your Lego license.

On your second day at the park you can check out Miniland, which recreates some of Britain's finest landmarks in an enchantingly small scale, or immerse yourself in Lego Ninjago World after riding up the Hill Train.

Find some tasty treats for you and your shipmates at Pirate's Burger Kitchen, or tuck in to some lunch at The Hungry Troll.

Those who are daring enough can try and conquer rides like Hydra's Challenge and Dragon's Apprentice, or experience weightlessness with Crystal Flame on Fire & Ice Freefall.

All of Legoland's Black Friday deals can be found on its website.
