Robbie Keane is favourite for the Celtic job (Image: Mike Egerton)

There has been lots of noise around Robbie Keane as a contender for the Celtic job, and bookmakers have now made him odds-on favourite.

The Irishman could prove a controversial choice given he managed Israelis Maccabi Tel Aviv, and failed to win the league with Hungarian favourites Ferencvaros.

However, he is very much in the running along with Martin O'Neill, while Craig Bellamy's name isn't going away despite appearing to rule out leaving Wales when speaking before last night's friendly with Ghana.

Keane is a free agent after resigning from the Hungarian side, and Betting Lounge has now made him 4/5 favourite for the Parkhead post. O'Neill is evens to stay on, while Bellamy is 10/3 and Roberto Martinez 11/1.
