King 'evicts' Harry and Meghan from cottage and 'offers' it it to Prince Andrew, it's claimed

King Charles has evicted Prince Harry and Megan from Frogmore Cottage, it is claimed.

It is reported the couple are arranging for their belongings to be shipped to California as the rift in their relationship with the Royal Family shows no sign of closing.

Scandal hit Prince Andrew is understood to have been offered the home instead, the Daily Mirror reports.

The move comes as Harry's memoire Spare shared intimate details of his life, and his claim he heard about the Queen's death from the BBC.

He has spoken regularly in public in the United States about his family problems since moving there in 2020.

A royal insider told The Sun: "This surely spells the end of Harry and Meghan's time in the UK."

It appears as though it was his Spare autobiography that was the final straw for Charles who decided then to have the Sussexes removed from the house.

But it is unclear whether Andrew has agreed to move into Frogmore Cottage with reports that he is "resisting".

"Andrew is resisting the idea of moving into Frogmore Cottage after he was offered it last week. But it shows Harry and Meghan are powerless to stop the eviction," reportedly said the royal insider.

The late Queen gifted Frogmore Cottage to Harry and Meghan following their wedding back in 2018.

Frogmore was converted into one home in 2019, having previously been five separate properties for staff working on the Windsor Estate.

The whole renovation cost the Sovereign Grant £2.4million and the property is thought to have five bedrooms, a kitchen, a sitting room and a nursery first designed for Archie.
