Kim Kardashian shares snaps of 'lifeless' $60m home after she gets mansion in divorce deal

Kim Kardashian got her fans talking as she shared a sneak peek behind her $60million Hidden Hills home after securing it in her divorce settlement with ex-husband Kayne West.

Despite the multi-million dollar price tag, the SKIMS founder's follower's weren't impressed with her "depressing" estate, comparing her massive mansion to a "cold clinical ward".

Kim, 42, has always enjoyed a minimal interior, but her latest marble and stone home transformation hasn’t gone down too well.

Followers of The Kardashians star say sleeping in her house would be like "staying in a morgue" due to its dark-coloured walls and furniture.

Mum-of-four Kim shared a carousel of snaps from inside her home, saying that her updated interior makes her feel "happy", despite the criticism.

She showed pictures of what looks to be one of her living rooms, finished off with matching-coloured furniture, carpets, walls and art.

Her giant bed appeared to sit on what looked to be a giant wall, with colour-coordinated bedding and a marble-style wall and bed frame.

Another snap shows what appears to be the view from the upstairs of her property, showing a large outdoor sports court and what looks to be a giant swimming pool.

Kim's $60million (£49m) Hidden Hills estate will remain in her possession in the divorce deal with Ye, who also agreed to let her keep another $4.5million property he bought next door.

The main home's simplistic stoneage design wasn't particularly well-received by Kim's followers after some compared her home to a "prison".

"That is such a depressing looking house," said one follower. While another blasted: "I would feel like I’m sleeping in a morgue in that bedroom."

Another said: "I felt cold looking at this." A fourth bluntly penned: "Kimberly, there are penitentiaries cosier than this" as someone else said: "It’s giving solitary confinement."

Followers said her home was "completely lifeless and clinical".

Even Kim's kids aren’t a fan of the "drab" interior, with her nine-year-old daughter North, shared with ex-husband Kanye West, previously calling the house "ugly".

"She thinks this is a dig to me, and she’ll say, 'Your house is so ugly. It’s all white. Who lives like this?'" Kim said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show last October.

"She just thinks it like gets to me," she added. "And it is kinda mean because I like my house."

It comes after the ongoing divorce saga between Kim and Kanye is finally over, with their settlement said to be complete.

The former couple have reportedly resolved their child custody and property-related issues, with Kim set to receive $200,000 each month in child support from the 45-year-old rapper.

It's said the duo will now get joint custody of their four kids - North, 9, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3. TMZ reports that even though the settlement agreement states "equal access", Kim is likely to have the children 80 per cent of the time.
