Keith Urban hinted at trouble in his marriage to Nicole Kidman in a text message sent to a friend.
The country singer and Oscar-winning actress announced the end of their 20-year marriage in September 2025, much to the shock and surprise of fans.
But now radio presenter Kyle Sandilands has revealed he should have spotted the hidden message in a text Keith sent him at the time.
On his radio show on Wednesday (19.08.26), Kyle said: “Before it was announced, Keith sent me a text ... he was coming out to Australia. He's a good guy. He sent me a text saying, ‘Bro, when I get there we MUST catch up’
'I looked back at that and thought, ‘aha’. I didn't realise what he was saying then.”
Kyle also went on to explain the reasons he thinks Nicole and Keith split, as he insisted he’s not “taking sides” in the split.
He said: “Keith is a really nice guy and Nicole is super sweet as well. Some of these relationships just come to a natural end,' he said.
“When you're in the spotlight like these two, who are really quite private, they don't air the dirty laundry. They are just two really sweet people. I like them very much. I'm not taking sides.”
Kyle’s remarks come after Nicole took to her Instagram page to share some pictures of a recent trip to Iceland with daughters Sunday and Faith.
Alongside the picture carousel, she wrote: “Beautiful country, trip of a life time. @ritzcarltonyachtcollection, thank you for being so kind to my family and guests.
“We love you Iceland!”
The snaps also showed Nicole with her naturally curly hair, with fans quick to comment on her fresh look.
One wrote: “Love your hair curly! Reminds me of vintage 90’s Nicole Kidman!”
Another added: “Beautiful hair curly - so natural and sexy and young.”
As a third commented: “Curls are the best. Reminds me of your early movies.”
