Katie Taylor's net worth ahead of huge title fight with Bray boxer to get massive sum

Katie Taylor puts her unbeaten professional record and her WBC, WBA, IBF and WBO world lightweight titles on the line on Saturday night.

She's set to face Karen Elizabeth Carabajal at Wembley Arena in her second fight of the year.

Back in April, the Bray Bomber moved to a phenomenal record of 21-0 by beating Amanda Serrano in a superfight.

It's been 10 years since KT earned a historic gold medal at the Olympics, turning professional shortly after.

In that decade, she has brought female boxing to another level, both in terms of skill and support.

As a result, she's managed to rack up quite a pretty penny, commanding a six-figure sum per fight.

That will include tonight's fight with the Argentinian Carabajal.

In 2021, Katie Taylor's net worth was reported to be a cool €2 million - and when you consider that she'll have had two massive sold-out PPV fights in 2022, that will tick towards €3 million.

The bout will be shown live on streaming service DAZN around the world, excluding Australia and New Zealand. A subscription for DAZN costs €7.99 a month.

Taylor is set to fight at Wembley Arena for only the third time following a technical knockout of Karina Kopinska on her full-time debut in November 2016 and a unanimous decision victory over Miriam Gutierrez two years ago.

The 36-year-old reflected on a “phenomenal six years” during which women’s boxing has grown rapidly.

“It is great to be back at the scene where it all started,” she said.

“I don’t think we ever would have imagined six years ago that we would be in this position and headlining the likes of Madison Square Garden.

“Bringing women’s boxing up to where it is right now, it has been a phenomenal six years.

“I can’t wait. It’s great to headline another huge show.”
