Katie Price's 'foul-mouthed text messages about ex's fiancée' after release from police custody

Katie Price has been released from police custody after she allegedly breached the terms of a restraining order on her ex-husband’s new fiancée.

Last night, it was reported that the 43-year-old glamour model had allegedly sent a foul-mouthed text message to her ex Kieran Hayler about his current partner Michelle Penticost.

She was arrested by police at her home on Friday, but has since been released while investigations into the alleged incident continue.

Katie is said to be banned from contacting Michelle “directly or indirectly” as part of a five-year restraining order granted in 2019, the Mirror reports.

The glamour model allegedly sent a foul-mouthed text to ex Kieran Hayler about his fiancée Michelle Penticost (PA)

It has been alleged by sources in The Sun that Katie sent Kieran a text that branded Michelle a “"c***ing w***e piece of s***" and a "gutter s**g”.

And insiders claim that Katie was left furious hours later after seeing a cryptic social media post from Michelle that read: "If someone treats you badly, just remember that there is something wrong with them.

"Normal people don’t go around destroying other human beings."

A source close to Michelle's family told the publication: "Although the message was sent to Kieran, they both felt it was addressed to Michelle. So they got in touch with the police.

"Michelle is absolutely devastated, and feels very threatened. The message was incredibly aggressive.

"Given the restraining order that’s in place, and the fact Katie is still on a suspended sentence, it’s extraordinary she decided to lash out like this — unprovoked, too."

If proven, the breach could mean Katie has broken the terms of her 16 week suspended sentence for drink driving - and she could be recalled to prison.

A Sussex Police spokesperson said yesterday: "At 5.45pm on Friday (21 January) police responded to a report that a suspect had breached their restraining order. Officers arrested a woman in her 40s who has been released under investigation while enquiries continue."

Katie Price could face jail over the allegations (PA)

The arrest comes not long after Katie swerved jail after pleading guilty to drink-driving and driving without insurance and while banned from the roads.

She was sentenced at Crawley Magistrates' Court in December to a 16-week jail term, suspended for 12 months and 100 hours of community service.

Her two-year driving ban was also sustained.

Katie, who shares kids Jett, eight, and Bunny, seven, with Kieran, was told by a judge that she was lucky to not be spending Christmas behind bars.

Announcing her sentence, District Judge Amanda Kelly said: "When you chose to get behind the wheel that night you showed no concern for others.

"You could have killed somebody. Your actions meant the emergency services had to use up their precious time. You knowingly and deliberately flouted a court order and not for the first time.

"You seem to think you are above the law.”

It was in 2019 that Katie was slapped with a restraining order.

Michelle, who met Kieran at the school where her son and his kids with Katie are pupils, had not attended the 2019 hearing when a victim statement was read out on her behalf after accusations that Katie repeatedly called her a "f***ing c***" outside of the school.

The statement said: "I’m still in a relationship with Mr Hayler. It is clear Miss Price has been poisoning their children’s view of me - saying I'm fat, I have a big a**e, that I hate mummy [Price].

"I'm anxious I may still see her and I just want to get outside the school as soon as possible."

Katie was reported to have approached Michelle at the school gates while she was speaking to another parent, Andrea Quigley, and interrupted by saying: "You can kiss my daughter but you can’t say hello."

The Mirror has contacted Kieran's representatives for comment.
