Journalist shares infertility issue after Blake Lively's 'little bump' jibe: 'It felt like a bullet'

Journalist Kjersti Flaa, who has gone viral for sharing her 'nightmare' 2016 interview with Blake Lively, has now hit headlines after she opened up about her struggles with infertility.

In a recent interview with the Daily Mail, Flaa, recounted a painful moment when she complimented Lively on her "little bump" during a press junket for the film 'Café Society'. The actress, who was pregnant at the time, responded sarcastically, leaving Flaa feeling "almost paralyzed."

"To be honest, it hurts because I obviously wasn’t pregnant and I could never get pregnant," Flaa shared. "So to me, that comment was like a bullet."

In a statement to TMZ, Flaa said that to this day she still doesn't understand why the pregnancy comment irked Blake. She said to the portal, "I find it a little bit offensive she said it back to me. It was strange behaviour to me."

The reporter admitted to Daily Mail, that the interaction left her feeling "very uncomfortable" and eager to "leave and get out of there."

Since posting the video online, many netizens have criticized Lively's "uncalled for" behaviour that left the journo 'traumatised'. The actress has also faced backlash for promoting her cocktail and haircare brands during press events for her latest movie, 'It Ends With Us', which deals with serious themes of domestic violence.

In response to the criticism, Lively subtly addressed the backlash by sharing resources for victims of domestic violence earlier this week, however, netizens are now calling to cancel the actress.
