Jordin Sparks hopes to speak to Halle Berry about 'hormones'

Jordin Sparks is keen to speak to Halle Berry

Jordin Sparks wants to speak to Halle Berry about "hormones and menopause".

The 36-year-old singer has co- written a screenplay, and Jordin has revealed via social media that she's keen to discuss the topic with Halle, observing that the 59-year-old actress is the "right person to talk to about it".

Jordin - who won the sixth season of American Idol back in 2007 - wrote on X: "Hiiii @halleberry ! I sent you a dm because I wrote a screenplay about hormones and menopause and know you’d be the right person to talk to about it! Hope you’re having a great day! [heart emoji] (sic)"

Jordin is best known for her success in the music business, but she's also starred in various movies - including Sparkle, God Bless the Broken Road, and A Christmas Treasure - in the past.

The No Air hitmaker previously revealed via social media that she'd written a screenplay called Quiet Storm, and she reached out to a long list of famous actresses in a bid to get the project off the ground.

Jordin wrote on Instagram: "Calling all female executives, studios and heads of development:

"‘QUIET STORM’ is a screenplay written by my fantastically talented writing partner @sjnovel and myself. It’s been a labor of love over the past 5 years! We have received some lovely feedback, coverage and are yearning for as much as we can get! I’m coming to you guys so we can leave no stone unturned and pursue every avenue, lane, opportunity afforded to us!!

"The dream is to get this read by every female run studio out there—EX:
