ITV Corrie's Sally Carman shares unseen photo from wedding day while husband Joe Duttine reflects on regret

Coronation Street star Sally Carman has shared an unseen photo from her wedding day that has got fans all of a flutter. The actress, best known for playing Abi Webster in the ITV soap, said 'I Do' to her Corrie co-star Joe Duttine in an intimate church ceremony in July.

Two years after getting engaged, Sally confirmed the pair had officially tied the knot with an image posted to her Instagram account. "We did," Sally, aka Mrs Duttine, captioned the post which showed the newlyweds sharing a kiss, both with a glass of fizz in hand, stood under a stunning balloon arch

And last month, after enjoying an Italian adventure for their honeymoon with Sally sharing updates on social media as they swapped Weatherfield for the likes of Verona and Lake Garda and heading off again on a trip to France where they sipped pints in the sunshine, Sally and Joe appeared to say 'I Do' all over again.

Sally, 41, and Joe, 52, appeared to don their original outfits from their first big day as they soaked up the love from their guests at their wedding party.

But now, Sally has returned to social media to share a few more snaps from her memorable summer, including a new shot from her wedding day. "What a summer," she captioned the string of images before sharing a lengthy post.

"Special memories made all the more so with the help of some amazing people! I just wanted to thank a few of these beauties on here as they so deserve a shout out. So here goes… @prept_laurajane for my beautiful nails ( a change from the red! ) but also for being a truly beautiful soul. The GENIUS that is @hairbyshelleyrimmer for my ever-changing locks! A true Wonder Woman who is just fabulous inside and out.

"The wondrously talented @sundaybestjazz for making our wedding party so special - my goodness, that girl can sing! Jemma at @dreambigballoons for adding real sparkle to our wedding celebrations with her amazing skills - nothing was a problem/ Also @romlilyflowers for my beautiful flowers."

She then rounded off her post: "Finally, I’d like to thank my family, esp my parents @anncarman65 and my new sis @louisemcaneny and bro Steve - we love you to bits. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, for everything."

And while Sally reminisced over the summer, Joe couldn't help but reminisce over a very important occasion he missed last summer. The actor, who has played Tim Metcalfe on the cobbles since 2013, didn't appear at the Salford-based set when the late Queen made a visit last July.

On July 8, 2021, following the soap marking its 60th anniversary in December 2020 and after coming back to work following the Covid lockdown. The late monarch was given a whistle-stop tour of the famous street, chatting to members of the cast who lined the cobbles for her arrival. She started her visit by chatting to Corrie's own king and queens, Bill Roache, who plays Ken Barlow, Barbara Knox who is cast as Rita, Sue Nicholls who plays Audrey and Helen Worth, known to millions of soap fans as Gail.

Following the special occasion, the soap's cast quickly flooded social media with their own pictures from the memorable day. Then, in the wake of her death, the photos were shared again. But it appears Joe may have been feeling left out as his castmates paid their tributes.

He shared a photo of his on-screen wife, Sally Dynevor, who plays Sally Metcalfe, alongside the Queen during what was her last visit to Greater Manchester. And in the space between Sally and the Queen, Joe had drawn a red stick figure.

"This is where I should have been standing if if weren't for bloody COVID...." he penned, clearly showing his upset. And fans did feel for him. @sukilon2019 said: "Aww no....that's rubbish." @jill.eve.meals commented: "Awww bless you." @lynda.angus said: "That's sad."

Others did, however, try and make a joke. @jkirkhope39 replied: "But you’re right there in the picture." @something_happened typed: "Thought that was you." @irismoroney jokingly asked: "Is that not you???" @boxer_fitness_nic then joked: "@joe_duttine_ looks so much like you , you would never know you weren’t there."
