Irvine's busiest road has been partially blocked following an accident this morning.
The smash on the A71 Warrix Interchange has meant that the slip to the A78 northbound has been blocked.
Inrix reports that traffic is coping well following the smash.
The warning from Inrix states: "A78 Northbound exit slip road partially blocked due to accident at A71 (Warrix Interchange). Traffic is coping well. As you head up to the roundabout."
Police Scotland have confirmed that a two car crash was reported to them at around 10.55am. No reported injuries from the collision and drivers have exchanged details.
