Instead of Fining Him, Sikkim Cops Did THIS to a Wrongly Parked Bike - The Internet Is in Love

A small moment from Sikkim is quietly stealing the internet’s heart. No drama, no scolding, no fine. Just two police officers doing something unexpectedly kind. A bike was parked where it shouldn’t have been, blocking the road. Instead of waiting around to write a challan, they simply picked it up and shifted it out of the way. That’s it. And somehow, that tiny act hit people right in the feels.

This happened during Maghey Mela, between January 14 and 21, when the state is packed with visitors. A lot of tourists come in from West Bengal around this time, the roads get messy, and everything feels a little chaotic. The bike was in the wrong place, sure. But the officers chose the easier, kinder option. They cleared the road and moved on.

Travel vlogger Satyajeet Dahiya, who filmed the whole thing, asked them why they didn’t just fine the owner. Their reply was simple. It’s festival season. People have come from far away. Why spoil someone’s trip over a parking mistake? The problem was the blocked road, not the person who left the bike there.

Once the clip went up on Instagram, it spread like wildfire. People loved seeing this softer side of policing. Many pointed out how rare it feels to see cops choose understanding over punishment. And yeah, a lot of folks couldn’t help comparing it to how things usually work in other cities.

In his caption, the vlogger wrote about how calmly the officers explained themselves. No attitude. No ego. Just quiet responsibility. And you can see that vibe in the video too. It feels real, not staged.

The comments section turned into a mini love fest. People praised the Sikkim Police for being respectful and grounded. Some shared stories of being let off with warnings in the state. Others said this is exactly why Sikkim feels different.

At the end of the day, it was just two people moving a bike. But it showed something bigger. Rules matter, sure. But a little kindness goes a long way. And honestly, that’s what people are holding on to from this clip.
