In a time when the running back market has a dark cloud over it, the Colts reportedly made a play that’ll certainly leave Jonathan Taylor in disbelief.
Free-agent running back Kareem Hunt was set to work out for the Saints and seemed to be on the verge of finding his next home. Then, Indianapolis stepped into the mix and threw a wrench in their entire plan—at least for now.
After Hunt’s visit with the Saints, which led to reports that he was expected to sign with the team pending physicals, a complete 180 occurred. As ESPN’s Dianna Russini revealed, Hunt was called by the Colts before working out for the Saints and was “offered more money” at that time.
Unsurprisingly, Hunt was then “advised” to leave and head to Indy for a visit.
How about this twist?

Nothing like a little drama just ahead of the preseason. The Hunt saga in just the past 24–48 hours has been a bit of a whirlwind, and it’ll be interesting to see how it pans out.
