Itanagar: Indian Army soldiers on Sunday participated in a yoga session on the banks of Pasang Sonam Lake in Arunachal Pradesh's Shi-Yomi district, nearly 9,000 feet above sea level, as part of the month-long celebrations leading up to International Yoga Day 2026.
Troops deployed in forward areas enthusiastically took part in the session, performing yoga postures, breathing exercises and meditation techniques amid the pristine high-altitude surroundings, a defence communique said.
