When it comes to affordable dupes, there’s one Australian brand that springs to mind — MCoBeauty. The brand creates “on-trend” beauty products without the luxury price tag, which, in this economy, is a lifesaver. While I do love splurging on makeup and skincare, I can’t really afford to do it as much as I’d like.
Rather than spending frankly ridiculous amounts of money on lip oils and cheek tints, we’ve been given the opportunity to try out MCoBeauty’s latest range of products, which includes lip balm, gloss, oil, fragrance mist and more. They’re renowned for their dupes of products from Charlotte Tilbury, L’Oreal, Gisou, and Tarte, but their classic, ‘non-dupe’ range is also an absolute hit.
To take the guesswork out for you, we decided to do a deep dive to see which products from the MCoBeauty range are worth adding to your routine.
The Best MCoBeauty Products
Summer Glow Bronzing Powder
I use MCoBeauty’s OG bronzer, the Silky Smooth Bronzer, every single day, so was pretty keen to get my mitts on this. This is a dupe for NARS’ Laguna Bronzer, and while it’s good, I think I prefer the Silky Smooth Bronzer (I like the sparkles and that it’s a bit darker). There’s nothing wrong with this, other than that it only comes in one shade, so it’s better for people with lighter complexions.

Everyday Lip Balm

I wish these existed sooner. These lip balms are so lightweight and nourishing, and don’t leave my lips feeling drier than when I first put the product on — like some lip balms tend to do. They have a gorgy sheer tint and taste like a Lipsmacker, it took all my self-restraint not to lick it right off.
The watermelon and strawberry flavours taste the best, but the cherry one gives off the nicest tint in my opinion.
Lip Exfoliating Serum
This lip exfoliating serum comes with a buffing applicator and can be used as a primer before you pop on your lip combo for the day (or just to remove any icky dead skin). While I don’t think it’s an absolute must, it’s definitely a nice-to-have (and her, at $14, why not?). My lips felt super smooth after!

Grip Illuminating Primer

There’s no denying this is a dupe for Milk Makeup’s Hydro Grip primer. When I first put it on, I was conscious of looking like a sweaty disco ball (the gold shimmer was in full force). However, underneath makeup, it softens out, resulting in a really pretty, glowy base that lasts all day long. The grippiness of this primer is no joke.
XTendLash Mascara – Brown
MCOBeauty’s best-selling mascara (scroll down for details on the OG) is now available in brown. And this may be my favourite brown mascara I’ve used in terms of pigment. I have almost-black lashes, so it’s pretty hard for colours to show up against my lashes, but this one does a mighty fine job. It’s my new fave everyday mascara.

Golden Glow Lip Oil

I am OBSESSED with this MCoBeauty lip gloss oil. It’s a dupe of the Gisou Honey Infused Shimmer Lip Oil, and as far as I’m concerned, it ticks every box while also being $37 cheaper.
It feels amazing on the lips and smells like honey. 10/10, no notes.
Summer Daze Tinted Lip Oil
This is MCoBeauty’s dupe of the Summer Fridays Dream Lip Oil and honestly, it’s just as good as the real thing imo.
The formula isn’t sticky but still has a high-shine finish. It comes in the same shades as the SF version but without the hefty price tag. Colour me impressed.

Summer Blush Cheek and Lip Cream

Okay, I’ve gotta say, this is probably my second favourite product from MCoBeauty’s new drop. This cheek and lip cream goes on beautifully. It’s smooth, creamy and sheer, so you can build it up if you’d like.
I’m definitely adding this one to my morning makeup routine.
Super Pen 4-in-1 Liner
Four-in-one pen liners are great for easy touch-ups on the go. So, of course MCoBeauty had to release its own version.
It features an eyebrow pencil, lip liner, highlighter and eyeliner in one. While it is super convenient, I found the pencils inside weren’t very high quality, but for $18, it’s a great product.

Lip Whip Intense Repair Balm

This lip balm has a thick and creamy formula for intense hydration. It is quite sticky and you do need to use your fingers to apply it, which can be inconvenient if you’re using it on the go. It can also be used as a lip mask because of this.
Overnight Lip Mask
The beauty product of the moment is Laneige’s Lip Sleeping Mask. MCoBeauty’s dupe of the rich, moisturising mask is fantastic and comes in similar scents as the original.

MicroBrows Ultra-Fine Crayon

Sometimes, all you need is a good, reliable eyebrow pencil and spoolie, and MCoBeauty absolutely hits the mark. The pencil is perfectly thin and has a great consistency.
Shimmer Lip Plump 4-in-1 Hydrating Lacquer
This MCoBeauty sheer plumping lip gloss is probably the most comfortable plumper I’ve ever used. Rather than the hot feeling you get from plumpers, this one makes your lips feel cool, which is a refreshing change.

Essential Fragrance Roll On Collection

For $42, these roll-on scents from MCoBeauty are based on the Sol de Janeiro fragrance mist collection and are 100 per cent worth the money. The scents don’t last too long (around five hours), but the easy application and small size is ideal for keeping in your bag.
Loose Powder Cool and Set
This loose powder is enriched with skincare ingredients like Vitamin E and Hyaluronic Acid, so it sets your makeup without drying it out. It’s a great dupe for Huda Beauty’s cult-fave Easy Bake powder.
While the formula has a nice texture that feels good on the skin, it doesn’t come with an applicator and is only available in four lighter shades, with the darkest being ‘natural medium’.

Xtendlash Mascara

MCoBeauty’s Xtendlash Mascara is a best-selling tubing mascara. It adds length, curl and volume without flaking or smudging. If you haven’t heard of tubing mascara before, it creates water-resistant ‘tubes’ around each lash for maximum length, definition and hold.
Then, when you wash it off, the tubes essentially slide off the lash without causing breakage. In our opinion, it’s a bit of a dupe of the Kevyn Aucoin Mascara.
Super Glow Bronzing Drops
I’m pretty sure everyone knows these Super Glow Bronzing Drops are a dupe of Drunk Elephant’s famous Bronzing Drops. TBF, they’re pretty good for the price point, and they leave you with a sunkissed glow.

Flawless Glow Luminous Skim Filter

This is MCoBeauty’s most famous dupe, the Flawless Glow Luminous Skim Filter. It’s basically the more affordable version of Charlotte Tilbury’s Flawless Filter, and it does a damn good job imitating it.
It can be used as a primer, mixed with foundation to add a light-reflecting glow, or on top of makeup as a highlighter.
Highlight & Glow Beauty Wand
The Highlight & Glow Beauty Wand is the perfect illuminating liquid highlighter wand and a dupe for the Charlotte Tilbury one.
The creamy, light-reflecting formula features super fine, pearlescent particles that capture and reflect light in all the right places.

Miracle Hyaluronic Tinted Serum

The MCoBeauty Miracle Hyaluronic Tinted Serum is the ultimate blend of makeup and skincare. It combines the hydrating and plumping benefits of a serum with the skin-perfecting coverage of a foundation. And the best part? It feels like nothing is on your skin!
Fans say it’s a dupe of the best-selling L’Oreal True Match.
Now you have your makeup sorted, it’s time to give your dry, flaky skin some love with these body lotions and moisturisers.
