'I got dress-coded at the gym but was fully covered up - it's just because I'm hot'

A woman has shared her confusion online after getting "dress-coded" at the gym, despite being covered up in a long-sleeved top and shorts. The fitness TikToker, known as Bee, couldn't understand why she'd been stopped about her outfit - which was typical of many gym-goers.

In the video, Bee can be seen wearing a beige crop top with black biker shorts in the changing rooms. She spins round to show the back and front of her get-up, with a puzzled expression on her face. While Bee didn't state exactly what had been said to her, she captioned the clip: "I got dress coded for what... looking hot?"

Fellow TikTok users were just as bewildered as Bee, and one person wrote: "They be doing too much smh (shaking my head)".

Another commented: "Ur kidding," while a third said: "When your whole body is covered."

One gobsmacked person found the whole ordeal comical and said: "I'm weak," and a fifth simply put: "Noooo."

It was clear Bee's viewers couldn't understand why she'd been dress-coded either, when she was clearly quite covered up in her gym gear.

Bee, who posts under the username @bbycheeseball often shares her daily life on TikTok and films herself working out - but it's the first time she's spoken out about being criticised for her clothing.

Another college student was dress-coded at the gym for wearing a "tank top" with a unicorn print that was apparently "too sexual".

Allison Gallup, from Utah, US, was left baffled when she got turned away at her gym for sporting a simple white tee.

The TikToker captioned her viral clip: "My unicorn graphic tee was a little too sexual, I guess", while shrugging in confusion.

One viewer questioned the dress code, asking: "Dude what. Are guys also not allowed to wear shirts like that?"

While another jokingly said: "Allison I can't believe you. That's really immodest, how dare you show your upper arm."
