How Twitter reacted to Colts starting QB Nick Foles

The Indianapolis Colts are rolling with their third starting quarterback of the Jeff Saturday era, which will enter its sixth game, as they announce Nick Foles is expected to be the starter for the final three games.

Of course, everything should be taken with a grain of salt considering what we’ve seen during this nightmarish season. Benching Matt Ryan could provide a spark in the offense but also could save the Colts some money down the road if they decide to part ways with him.

Foles technically is the third starting quarterback under Saturday even though Sam Ehlinger never played a snap. Saturday said in his introductory press conference that Ehlinger would start the remainder of the season. Then, he went to his first practice the following day and Ryan was the starter for the game that week.

With three games remaining, the Colts are just waiting for the campaign to end. And they’re expected to do so with Foles under center.
