How to watch England vs France: TV channel and live stream for Women's Rugby World Cup semi-final today

England and France will go toe-to-toe at Ashton Gate this afternoon as they look to secure a Rugby World Cup final berth.

England remain in the hunt for their first world title since 2014, while France have never reached a final.

John Mitchell’s team only seems to be getting stronger as the tournament progresses, and will only improve in this semi-final as Hannah Botterman and Ellie Kildunne return to the squad after an injury layoff.

This is a tie which England habitually win. They have not been beaten by their cross-channel rivals since 2018, beating them 16 times since.

Naturally, their two most recent meetings follow that same trend. England took a narrow one-point win in a thrilling Six Nations decider at Twickenham, before securing a more comfortable 40-6 win in a pre-World Cup warm-up.

France will be without two key players in this match, too, as Axelle Berthomieu and Manae Feleu are both suspended for biting and dangerous tackling, respectively.

Where to watch England vs France

TV channel: In the UK, the game will be televised live on BBC One. Coverage will begin at 2.45pm BST ahead of a 3.30pm kick-off.

Live stream: Those with a TV license can also follow the contest live online via BBC iPlayer.

Live blog: You can follow all the action on matchday via Standard Sport’s live blog, with expert analysis from Oli Gent.
