THE National has sat down with the First Minister John Swinney at Bute House for an exclusive interview.
It is set to be published tomorrow in both video and article format.
His thoughts on opposition in the SNP to his indyref2 plan, Scottish Government arms firm grants, Angus Robertson’s controversial "critical friend" comment, Nicola Sturgeon’s forthcoming memoir and his recent meeting with Donald Trump – all this and much more were discussed with political reporter James Walker.
A first glimpse of the interview can be read here, where we ask Swinney about the Scottish Government recently announcing it is considering a state boycott of Israel amid the genocide in Gaza.
But the full interview will be published online and in tomorrow’s print newspaper (Tuesday) and all over social media – including a full-length video recording on YouTube.
