PEAK's Mesa update has an explosive side to it, and Dynamite can be extremely dangerous if you don't know how to handle it.
This explosive item can be found in random areas of the Mesa biome. Typically, it appears to be more common along the cliffs compared to the low-level areas. The item is pretty easy to spot, but it can lead to accidental damage if you're not careful.

How to find Dynamite in PEAK?
Dynamite isn't found in luggage bags, even though most items can be found in these bags. As I mentioned, you'll more readily find them on the cliffs. Hence, start at the Shore, reach the Mesa biome, and start scaling up the cliffs.
You'll spot Dynamite easily since it sticks out in the open. You can pick it up like common items that are usually available on the ground. However, extra steps of care have to be applied once you find some.
How to use the Dynamite in PEAK?
Dynamite is always lit up when you have it in your hand. You'll have to be extremely careful while taking it out of your luggage, as it can explode. You'll have to use your mouse cursor to aim, and then settle on power.
The more power you apply, the longer it will travel before exploding. I am not sure if you can throw it at an enemy at this point. The right way to use Dynamite is probably at the mineshaft entrance, which is blocked by a rock. You'll have to throw the Dynamite at it to crack the doorway open. Unfortunately, my attempt ended horribly in my solo gameplay. That said, this seems like the correct way to use this explosive item.
